Let's drink to the World Cup
The World Cup Collectible Mugs will feature the flags of eight of the participating countries as well as the logo for the 2014 World Cup.

It's that time again, when football fever sweeps across the world.

The New Paper is giving out World Cup Collectible mugs to its readers, together with cash prizes and World Cup team jerseys worth up to $7,000.

Eight different mugs printed with the flags of different countries competing in the World Cup, including favourites like Germany, Spain and Brazil, will be up for grabs.

All you have to do is to collect 10 coupons, which will be printed in TNP every day, starting Monday. The last coupon will be printed on July 31.

To redeem, obtain the 10th coupon by buying a copy of TNP at the 7-Eleven outlet you are redeeming the mug from.

These mugs - each worth $11.90 - will be given out at random.

Redeeming these collectible mugs will also give you a chance at our Weekly Draws, where we'll publish the winning country and the number printed on the bottom of the mugs.

Three lucky winners will each win $300 in cash and a World Cup team jersey of their choice.

Details of the winning mug will be published every Wednesday, with the first announced on June 25.

There will also be a special Grand Draw, where one lucky winner will win $1,000 in cash and a World Cup team jersey of his choice. Details of that draw will be announced on July 23.

Football fans are excited and all geared up for the redemption.

Mr Wee Ren Hao (above, in yellow), 21, a student, said: "I would definitely try to get the mugs so as to better go along with the World Cup hype.

On the other hand, die-hard football fan Jason Tse (top) has his eyes set on a different prize.

The 21-year-old student said: "I like the Germans as their teams have always been solid, so I'll be hoping to win a Germany jersey to better support them."
