Marathon: Mok Ying Ren's best-ever 10,000m time

SINGAPORE - Singapore marathoner Mok Ying Ren clocked a personal best of 31min 55.55sec in the 10,000m race at the Nittaidai Sports University time trials in Japan on Saturday.

While the mark falls short of P.C. Suppiah's 40-year-old national record of 31:19.00, Mok is satisfied with his timing and is confident of a podium finish at December's SEA Games.
