Mums and kids in stroller fun run

SINGAPORE - For the first time, mothers and their kids, aged four and below, participated in a non-competitive 2.4km stroller fun run at yesterday's annual Shape Run.

In its eighth year, the Shape Run, which concluded at Nicoll Highway, is a women-only running event organised by Shape Singapore, a publication of SPH Magazines. Some 10,000 women participated in this year's event.

Another addition to this year's Shape Run was a group of five female pacers.

The pacers were originally introduced last year as an all-male group to guide runners in achieving their goal timings for the 5km and 10km races.
