NBA: Cavaliers snap Knicks' win streak

NEW YORK - Jarrett Jack finished with a season-high 31 points and tallied 10 assists to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 106-100 win over the New York Knicks late Sunday.

Dion Waiters scored 22 points and Luol Deng had 13 for the Cavaliers, who shot 60 per cent from the floor and ended a four-game NBA losing skid.

Carmelo Anthony finished with 32 points and J.R. Smith chipped in 18 for New York, who had a season-high eight-game win streak halted.

Raymond Felton had 14 points, eight assists and six rebounds, and Tim Hardaway and Amare Stoudemire finished with 12 points each for the Knicks.

New York led by nine points early in the fourth quarter. But then the Cavaliers went on a 13-4 surge to tie the contest, 90-90, with 7:29 remaining.

Cleveland then went on another run to make it 100-94 with 2:38 to go.

But New York cut the Cavaliers' lead to just two, 102-100, after a pair of Anthony free throws with 42 seconds remaining in the fourth.

Jack then made a layup and Matthew Dellavedova drained a pair of free throws with 13 seconds left to clinch the victory.
