Not bad, rookie!

Hideki Matsuyama holds up a sign Sunday that congratulates him on becoming the first rookie to top the money list on the Japan Golf Tour.

Matsuyama captured the title by winning the Casio World Open at 12 under at Kochi Kuroshio Country Club in Kochi Prefecture.

The 21-year-old, a senior at Tohoku Fukushi University, turned professional in April. Meanwhile, Rikako Morita, 23, captured the women's money title for the first time on Sunday.
