Olympic star to swim in S'pore again
Chad le Clos, who is a Manchester United supporter, won seven medals at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow despite his preparations being severely hampered by an ongoing battle with asthma.

NANJING - South African swimmer Chad le Clos will be back in Singapore this November for the Fina World Cup, the third time in four years that he will be competing at the local event.

His coach Graham Hill told The Straits Times: "We're going to go to the Doha leg at the end of this month but, after that, we'll be in Singapore for sure."

Le Clos, 22, first competed in the Singapore leg in 2011.

He returned again last year, winning all five events he entered in, and also broke the world (short-course) 200m butterfly record by clocking 1min 48.56sec, erasing his own mark.

He was champion of the circuit in both years.
