Eclair Sensation, who has been running decent races recently, could knock in his fourth win from 20 starts when he takes on a moderate Class 4 field in Race 7 on Sunday.
The four-year-old from Mark Walker's yard drew attention with an outstanding gallop at Kranji on Wednesday morning.
With the very-popular Lisa Allpress in the saddle, the son of Street Sense reeled off the 600m in 37.6sec - finishing with what looked like a ton in reserve.
An Australian-bred, Eclair Sensation's last win was on Dec 1 when he beat Prince Gonski in tidy fashion.
Into the new year, he showed that he was running into his best form with eye-catching runs in his last two starts.
The first was on Feb 9 when, carrying lukewarm support - he was showing $71 for a win - he finished two and a half lengths behind Happy Money.
A month later, he again ran a good race, making lightwork of the 58kg to run second again - that time behind Pint Sized Prince.
In that race, over 1,100m, he charged home from near the back of the pack to finish three -quarters of a length behind the winner.
Eclair Sensation is topweight in Sunday's event but with apprentice R Shafiq in the saddle, he gets that important 1kg relief. That should help - as will the 1,200m trip.
On Wednesday's workout, he does look good to go.
