Reaching for the swim stars

In and out of the pool, reigning Olympic 100m freestyle champion Nathan Adrian got all the attention at the inaugural Prudential Singapore Swim Stars event at the OCBC Aquatic Centre last night.

In the water, the US swimmer was a big winner, clinching both the 100m freestyle title as well as the prestigious 50m freestyle race.

The 2,500 spectators who attended the event - as well as the swim stars - were also entertained with music, light shows and synchronised swimming performances.
