SINGAPORE - The South-east Asia Games in June next year may include a first - a Games anthem.
Singapore National Olympic Council secretary general Chris Chan is working with his Philippines counterpart to create a tune that will "carry the flavour of the SEA Games countries".
Said Chan, who is also the sports and rules chairman of the 28th Games, said: "We've never had an anthem, maybe we should try to get it done."
The Olympic Games has its own anthem - the Olympic Hymn - which is performed at all the Summer and Winter Games since 1960, as well as the inaugural Youth Olympics in 2010.
