Singapore - 100PLUS and fans gathered at Velocity @ Novena Square this evening to pledge their support of the Team Singapore's National athletes from the Singapore Sports School.

Among the athletes was track and field star Dipna Lim-Prasad who recently added yet another national record to her collection when she broke one of Singapore athletics' oldest national marks, Prema Govindan's 29-year-old national 200m mark.

The 16 athletes from the Singapore Sports School were greeted with loud cheers from proud fans who had gathered at the event organized by 100PLUS, to show their support and appreciation of the National athletes from the Singapore Sports School on their selection to represent Singapore at the 27th SEA Games in Myanmar.

In presenting a commemorative scroll of well wishes inked by fans and supporters to the athletes, Ms Jennifer See, General Manager, Beverages Singapore, F&N Foods Pte Ltd said, "We hope that our sponsorship has encouraged and given these young talented athletes the support to excel and to bring honour to their sport and to Singapore. We are delighted to continue our support of the athletes and programmes of the Singapore Sports School. It gives us great pride and pleasure to share the joy of our young athletes who must be elated to represent Singapore and who will undoubtedly do Singapore proud by outdoing themselves at the Games this December." The scroll will be displayed in the Games Village to remind our athletes that they have the support of the Nation.

"F&N 100PLUS has been on Singapore Sports School's sponsorship programme since 2012.
