SIA joins SEA Games family

National carrier Singapore Airlines (SIA) is now the official airline partner of the 28th South-east Asia (SEA) Games.

The deal was announced yesterday and will see SIA sponsor complimentary economy-class tickets to Singapore as prizes for promotional activities around the region.

The activities include Nila's Quest, a web-based digital game specially created for the SEA Games that aims to engage the regional community.

Fans from each South-east Asian nation stand a chance to win the grand prize - two tickets each to fly to Singapore for the Games, which will be held here from June 5 to 16.

The airline will also sponsor handheld fans, which will be included in the fun packs distributed during the Games' preview, opening and closing ceremonies, and SEA Games-themed Airbus A380 aircraft models.

SIA cabin crew will also participate in the opening and closing ceremonies.
