Singapore national swim team trains at Phuket
Thanyapura recently welcomed the Singaporean National Swim Team for an intensive week of training.

PHUKET, THAILAND - Singapore's national swim team was recently hosted at Phuket's Thanyapura for a week of intensive training in preparation for the Southeast Asian Games 2013, which is scheduled to be held in Myanmar in December.

Boasting facilities such as an Olympic standard pool and resistance training equipment, Thanyapura was seen as the region's ideal training ground for the Singaporean Team.

There is also an Integrative Health Centre (TIHC), Thanyapura Mind Centre (TMC) and the 77-room Thanyapura Sports Hotel - the first of its kind in Asia.

Located on a scenic 23-hectare plot framed by mountains and nature just 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport, Thanyapura offers training at all levels and ages in disciplines including Tennis, Football, Aquatics, Rugby and Triathlon.
