SINGAPORE - Singapore secured two spots in sailing at next year's Youth Olympic Games, after a good finish at the Byte CII World Championships in the United States.
Bernie Chin and Samantha Yom finished fourth in the boys' and girls' divisions respectively, with the top-five finishers in each class earning their countries a spot in the event at next year's Games in Nanjing.
However, the two sailors are not guaranteed their slots in China next year, as they have to fight for their places via Singapore Sailing Federation's internal selections.
