S'pore juniors doing well in Johor
Nanyang Primary School pupil, Rachel Sim, one of the young Singapore golfers who will be taking part in the Kids Golf World Championship (KGWC) tournament in Kuala Lumpur.

Three Singapore juniors are within striking distance in the Kids Golf World Championship Malaysia, finishing among the top three in their respective age groups on the first day at Johor's Palm Resort Golf and Country Club course.

Hailey Suanne Loh shot an 87 in the Girls' 10-year-old category to sit in second place, four shots behind Singapore-based Chinese Jin Jiarui.

Sean Lee lies third (four behind Thai Tanakrit Rattanadilok) with his 83 in the Boys' 10-year-old age group, while Shannon Tan is third on 44 (nine holes) in the Girls' 9-year-old section.
