S'pore team fall to ninth spot after Tour of Borneo

SINGAPORE - The OCBC Singapore Pro Cycling Team dropped to ninth spot on the Team General Classification (TGC) of the Tour of Borneo in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, on Wednesday.

After posting strong individual finishes in the first three stages that saw them reach fourth place on the team standings, Team OCBC could not replicate the same success in the 147.1kmlong Stage Four, with best performer Malaysian Loh Sea Keong finishing 17th.

Singaporeans Goh Choon Huat and Low Ji Wen crossed the line in 31st and 40th place respectively.

The Tour will reach its conclusion today in Stage Five with a 112.4km route.
