Tampines Rovers suffered a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Hong Kong side Kitchee in Kowloon yesterday, in an AFC Cup Group H encounter.

Spanish striker Juan Belencoso struck a hat-trick and his compatriot Jordi Tarres added another as Kitchee qualfied for the knockout rounds asgroup winners with one match remaining.

Despite the defeat, the Stags are second in the group, on six points, and face Myanmar's Naypyidaw FC (five points) in their final group game at the Jalan Besar Stadium on April 22. The S.League champions need only a draw to qualify for the next round.
