Just one week after winning gold at the SEA Games, men's floorball captain Syazni Ramlee was back in action again.

The floorball coach, who led the national team to victory in their maiden Games outing on June 14, was also a winner with Team ITE Class of 2011 at the ActiveSG Floorball 3v3 Event at Yio Chu Kang Sports Hall yesterday.

The event, organised by Three60 (Floorball Nation), rode on the wave of the nation's Games success, with almost 300 participants competing to win cash prizes and vouchers.

It also featured an exhibition match starring Swiss internationals Matthias Hofbauer and Michael Zurcher on Saturday.

Syazni, whose team won the men's open yesterday said: "There is no break for me after the SEA Games... (but) I am very glad to participate in this event, where people can know more about floorball and hopefully are encouraged to play too."

An estimated 5,000 people play floorball here.

Hussein Mohammed, founder of Three60, said the organisers are hoping the event will become an annual one and "provide the floorball scene with opportunities to compete and play in".
