Tao Li comes in 9th for butterfly event, missing out on final
Singapore's Tao Li narrowly missed out on qualifying for the 100m butterfly final after finishing ninth place during the heats.

SINGAPORE - Singapore's Tao Li narrowly missed out on qualifying for the FINA Swimming World Cup 2013 100m butterfly final after finishing ninth place during the heats today.

Hungary's Katinka Hosszu came in second for the heats but took gold in the 100m butterfly final.

Hosszu also took home a silver in the 200m freestyle event and another gold in the 200m Individual Medley.

Tao also joined teammates, Amanda Lim, Christopher Cheong and Quah Zheng Wen in the pool for the finals of the mixed 4x50m medley relay and the team finished 7th out of the 8 finalists.
