Team Singapore all set for Asian Para Games

Team Singapore athletes will be in Incheon, Korea, from tomorrow to Oct 24 for the second edition of the Asian Para Games.

Head of Mission Mr Justinian Chua will lead the 53-man contingent, who will compete in 11 sports - athletics, badminton, boccia, cycling, football 7-a-side, lawn bowls, sailing, shooting, swimming, table tennis and ten pin bowling.

Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, Mr Sam Tan and Parliamentary Secretary Ms Low Yen Ling will be there to show support for the athletes.

Mr Tan said "Our Team Singapore para-athletes have been training hard and are in good form. Most of them are debutants at the Asian Games, and I have heard from many of them that they are very excited and cannot wait to be part of the Games to do Singapore proud. I am confident that they will be flying our national flag high at the Asian Games."
