Tennis: 42 Ball Kids picked for WTA finals
Tennis Australia’s Matthew Dutton, a ball kid himself at the Australian Open from 1995 to 1998, coaching some of the 72 teenage WTA Finals hopefuls at the Ballkids Training Camp on 6 June 2014.

42 out of 100 Singaporean applicants have been selected to be Ball Kids at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore, which commences today.

These kids were selected after a year round training programme, where they trained under coaches from Tennis Australia in two intensive camps.

Each Ball Kid will be given the official tournament uniform and a certificate of appreciation.
