Three golds in a row for S'pore

Canoeists Stephenie Chen and Suzanne Seah (in red) celebrate their victory in the SEA Games women's K2 500m final.

The Singapore canoeing team delivered three golds yesterday.

In swimming, six golds were won but the 50m freestyle title that went to Joseph Schooling deserves special mention.

The 19-year-old clocked 22.47sec to take down Ang Peng Siong's 1982 mark of 22.69sec, the longest-standing national record in swimming.
