Both Singapore sides lost their quarter-finals to China on Sep 28 in the Asian Youth Water Polo Championship at the Toa Payoh Swimming Complex.

The Republic's boys' team lost 14-7 to the Chinese in their last eight tie on Saturday morning, while the girls' team were beaten 27-5 on Saturday evening.

The boys will face Indonesia on Sunday morning in a fifth-eighth classification match, while the girls will face Sri Lanka in the sixth-placing match on Sunday afternoon.
