SINGAPORE - Fans of Brown, James, Cony and gang can now enjoy seeing their favourite LINE characters from the popular mobile messaging application on AirAsia's new aircraft.
To celebrate the launch, AirAsia will be giving all LINE and AirAsia LINE friends a flight sale promotion to destinations such as Nanning, Lombok and Siem Reap.
Travellers can enjoy one way fares as low as RM39 (S$15) when they book between November 21 to 23. The travel period is from Jan 5 to April 30, 2015.
At a conference today, Mr Spencer Lee, head of commercial AirAsia Berhad and Ms EJ Lee, senior vice president of LINE Plus Corporation, unveiled the exclusive livery design to media and bloggers from the region.
Other than the exterior, the LINE aircraft's interior will also feature the colourful characters and signature colour scheme.
Passengers will have the chance to fly on this exclusive Airbus A320 aircraft on AirAsia's routes spanning over 22 countries.
Mr Lee said the company joined LINE this August and announced they have 13.4 million followers.
Ms Lee added that having LINE elements in the plane will make travelling more fun and exciting for the passengers.
Along with the flight sale, LINE users can enjoy 20kg baggage allowance and double reward points with every booking made during this promotion period, said AirAsia.
