Changi Airport celebrates 500th Best Airport Award with free coffee

SINGAPORE - Changi Airport was recently awarded its 500th Best Airport award, and to celebrate, Changi Airport Group (CAG) is serving complimentary cups of coffee to passengers and staff .

The coffee will be available on November 24 and 25 between 6am and 11am at all three terminals. Passengers and staff can look forward to either a plain brew, or a latte with airport-related latte art stencilled onto the foam.

Changi Airport's 500th award was presented by Business Traveller (China), which named it the Best Airport in the World for the 10th time.

"We are both honoured and humbled to have received out 500th Best Airport Award," said Mr Lee Seow Hiang, CEO of CAG. "This coffee giveaway is our small way, from CAG and all our partner agencies at the airport, of showing our appreciation to our passengers and members of the airport community."

Since opening in 1981, Changi Airport has been receiving accolades for its facilities, amenities, as well as service quality and approach to travel retail.

Notable awards include the World's Best Airport by Skytrax, which Changi has won a total of six times, and Business Traveller's Best Airport in the World for 28 consecutive years since 1988.
