Changi Airport Terminal 1 carpark now permanently closed

SINGAPORE - The carpark at Changi Airport Terminal 1 (T1) is now closed.

Drivers heading towards T1 are being directed towards the new T1 carpark, located at Terminal 2 (T2).

Road signage and lane markings have been put up to guide motorists to the relocated facilities.

In addition, Changi Airport Group (CAG) has deployed some 50 traffic marshals to point drivers in the right direction.

To head back to T1, drivers can take the skytrain or shuttle bus from T2. The boarding point of the free shuttle is at Door 1 of the T2 Departure Hall, beside the Krispy Kreme outlet. It runs from 12pm to 9pm daily.

According to The Straits Times, there are also signs in place at the T2 carpark to guide drivers to the skytrain and shuttle bus.

The redirection of traffic is to make way for the construction of Project Jewel.
