Fairmont Jakarta now open to guests

Fairmont Jakarta has opened its doors, starting today, in the heart of the capital city.

"After many months of detailed preparation, we are pleased to open our doors to guests today," Fairmont Jakarta general manager Carlos Monterde said in a press release on Wednesday.

"The Fairmont Jakarta experience is unlike any other in the city thanks to our thoughtfully designed guest rooms, remarkable views and wide array of innovative dining options. We look forward to showcasing the very best that this luxury hotel and Jakarta has to offer to visitors and locals alike."

Strategically situated at the centre of Senayan Square, the 380-room hotel provides direct access to Sentral Senayan Office Towers, the 18-hole Senayan National Golf Club, Gelora Bung Karno sports arena and the Jakarta Convention Center. Its facilities include Fairmont Gold accommodation, the brand's exclusive "hotel within a hotel" concept; 108 Sky Suites, offering guests suite-style living in a five-star hotel with the comfort of home; five restaurants and lounges; an outdoor swimming pool on the fourth floor; nine fully equipped spa treatment rooms; and a total of 3,500 square meters of function space for meetings and events.

To celebrate its soft opening, Fairmont Jakarta is offering 25 per cent off best available rates for stays from Jan. 21 until April 30, along with late check-out.

Fairmont Jakarta is the flagship hospitality brand in the prestigious development by Senayan Trikarya Sempana, a subsidiary of Kajima Overseas Asia. Its shopping hub, Plaza Senayan, attracts over a million visitors per month.

Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali recently marked the brand's debut in Indonesia. Fairmont Jakarta now establishes the brand in the capital and Fairmont Bali is scheduled to open next year.
