Fee to curb Phi Phi visits may be imposed

The chief of Krabi's Koh Phi Phi-Nopparathara National Park, Chaithat Boonphupantanti, said yesterday a fee may be imposed to curb the growth in the number of visitors to the popular islands.

He said the proposal would be raised at a national parks meeting on Thursday and Friday.
