RWS celebrates 5th anniversary with travel award win

SINGAPORE - Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) celebrated its anniversary with a fifth consecutive win as Asia Pacific's Best Integrated Resort at the 26th Annual TTG Travel Awards.

Held in Bangkok, the TTG Travel Awards seeks to honour the best organisations and services in the travel industry in Asia Pacific.

Mr Tan Hee Teck, President and Chief Operating Officer, Genting Singapore, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RWS, said: "As we celebrate RWS' fifth anniversary this year, it is gratifying to learn that we have garnered the Best Integrated Resort title for the fifth consecutive time."

"Having won this award every year since opening, it is a strong testament to our unwavering commitment to deliver the best experience for our guests," added Mr Tan.

Since its opening in 2010, RWS has won numerous awards such as its Universal Studios Singapore (USS) and S.E.A Aquarium being named Best Local Attractions in the AsiaOne's People Choice Awards 2015.

This year, RWS introduced new shows and attractions such as the new Puss In Boots' Giant Journey rollercoaster ride and the re-opening of the revamped Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon ride at USS.

The integrated resort will end the year with the return of the popular Halloween Horror Nights which is held in October and Christmas festivities in December.
