SINGAPORE - Scoot launched non-stop flights from Singapore to Melbourne today (Nov 1), making the Australian city its fourth destination in the country.
Scoot will operate the route five times weekly. During peak travel periods, the frequency of flights will be increased to daily service.
Voted the world's most liveable city by The Economist, Melbourne's vibrant arts and culture scene can now be experienced by more visitors from Asia, according to Scoot in its media statement today.
Scoot's CEO Campbell Wilson said the non-stop services will also allow travellers from Melbourne more opportunities to fly to Scoot's destinations beyond their country.
The airline also flies to three other Australian destinations - Gold Coast, Perth, and Sydney.
