SINGAPORE - Singapore-based start-up and online home sharing platform PandaBed.com has launched PeerMatch, a feature on their website for travellers to find like-minded home owners.

Holiday-goers and local hosts have to fill up a short questionnaire to indicate their preferences such as gender, age, interests and dietary requirements, and a match will be made.

The PeerMatch algorithm computes a matching score so both parties can see if they are compatible for a hosting or staying experience.

Co-Founder of PandaBed, Mr Lester Kang, said they realised their customers prefer to connect to people with similar culture, mindsets and values after speaking to them.

With PeerMatch, he hopes to enhance the homestay experience and provide more meaningful interactions and connections between the hosts and guests.
