VietJet to offer greater choice for in-flight meals

SINGAPORE - Budget airline VietJet has signed an agreement with South Korean fast food giant Lotteria Vietnam in an alliance that will see Lotteria's products being supplied to the airline.

This will offer customers a large variety of meal choices on board all domestic and international VietJet flights.

To celebrate the partnership, VietJet has emblazoned an aircraft with Lotteria Vietnam's red and yellow logo, which is in harmony with the airline's own colours.

Managing director of VietJet, Mr Luu Duc Khanh, was delighted with the agreement as it would allow VietJet to diversify their menu and raise their value and standards.

He added: "We are also developing as a consumer corporation and this strategic partnership with Lotteria Vietnam will contribute to that goal by helping us to add more value to our services and raise standard to the highest quality."

Similarly, managing director of Lotteria Vietnam, Mr Kang Hyung Hee, was proud that his company is the first ever fast food brand to be featured on an aircraft in Vietnam.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr Kang said, "This agreement has further strengthened the bilateral relation of culture and cuisine between Vietnam and South Korea."
