SINGAPORE - Win vouchers worth $1,000 to beautiful Taiwan by picking your favourite trip itinerary specially designed by Singapore's top travel agencies.
The AsiaOne Travel Planner contest is the first edition of a collaborative campaign between Taiwan Tourism Bureau, EVA Air and four tour agencies - ASA Holidays, Chan Brothers Travel, Dynasty Travel and Nam Ho Travel.
As part of the contest, each travel agency had to design a brand new travel itinerary for a 6-day tour of Taiwan, highlighting the best attractions.
ASA Holidays suggests an itinerary for nature lovers to experience the magnificent sights of Taiwan's largest lake, Sun Moon Lake, and to participate in leisure activities at Cing Jing Farms in the picturesque surrounds of Nantou, Taiwan's second largest county.
Chan Brothers Travel offers a more free-and-easy tour to visit the scenic Yilan Shangri-La Leisure Farm located 250m above sea level. Learn the art of making glutinous ball, make wishes on floating lanterns and visit the aboriginal tribes are among the highlights of this itinerary.
Dynasty Travel's trip covers the famous Tainan hot springs, tour of the Lavender Cottage and a session on how to make chocolate treats. The package will also highlight the capital's most famous cultural sights such as the Taichung Art Street and Fengjia Night Market.
Nam Ho Travel's package highlights Taipei's iconic attractions like Taipei 101, National Palace Museum and Taiwan's largest wholesale market at Wufenpu. The itinerary continues into the night with shopping and feasting activities at popular night markets in Shihlin, Raohe and Fongjia.
Now, if you are wondering how to participate? It is easy. All you have to do is vote for the travel agency with the itinerary that has the best offerings.
The travel agency which garners the most votes will pick 2 lucky readers who will go on to each win Taiwan travel vouchers worth $1,000.
Winners will get to fly on EVA Air, which is one of the main sponsors of this contest.
The contest will run for 6 weeks from Jan 14 to Feb 18, 2015.
