iHealth SG

Produced by the Ministry of Health, it enables users to locate the nearest clinic or any other health-care facility near you. Users can also view the waiting areas in polyclinics via a live webcam, so they can choose the least crowded one.

Foyage and MyHub

Foyage will detect other Foyage users near you, whereas MyHub will locate where all your Facebook and Twitter friends are on the map. MyHub only finds friends, while Foyage also finds places of interest near you, such as restaurants, petrol stations and post offices.

Cabbie

This cab-booking service takes the hassle out of telling the cab company your exact address. It will detect your location, spell out the exact address and you can book a cab. Works for Comfort and CityCab taxis.

ProxiHomes

An app which searches for a list of properties for sale - it goes up to 20,000 - near you. Photographs and prices of the properties are also available.
