WINDOWS Live announced yesterday that it will expand its domain for Hotmail, allowing users to sign-in to their e-mail, instant messenger and other Windows Live services using country-specific domain names.

Users in Singapore can choose to sign up for a username ending with hotmail.sg, which not only identifies their country of residence but also increases their chances of getting their favoured Windows Live ID, Microsoft said.
