I REFER to the discussion on why the sale of organs should not be allowed (my paper, July 1).

In my opinion, we could introduce a points system to encourage people to donate their organs.

Points could be given to those who donate their organs. These points may then be utilised for future visits to or treatment at government or restructured hospitals.

Alternatively, these points could give them priority when seeking consultation at government outpatient clinics.
