News of Edison's proposal to her were reported by local media yesterday. Netizens have responded by boo-ing her attempts to share her story.

But Dawn, 24, claimed that was not her intention.

Dawn, who is one of Stomp's star bloggers wrote in her blog: "I brought up the personal anecdote of my encounter with Edison not to attract attention, but to drive home a point that no matter how charming or famous a guy is, a girl should not allow herself to be caught in compromising situations, as she has more to lose."

Meanwhile, Edison is said to have proposed to his current girlfriend Vincy Yeung, 19, in a bid to stop triad members from seeking revenge from him. Vincy is the niece of Emperor Group chairman.
