Unveiling the final 20
The New Paper New Face 2007 will reveal the 20 finalists tonight at St James Power House. Watch for AsiaOne's exclusive 'live' coverage.
The 20 finalists for this year’s The New Paper New Face contest will be unveiled later this evening at The New Paper 19th Anniversary party, at St James Power House. Four girls will be cut from the top 24, which were chosen during the auditions at Subaru Hub. The lucky 20 girls will then be given a chance to shine on the catwalk at Grand Finals of The New Paper New Face 2007 contest, at Takashimaya Square on Oct 11. The girls will also do a full-fledged fashion photo shoot, and from Aug 27, each of them will be introduced in a four-page spread in The New Paper. AsiaOne will also have their video profiles up at the same time. Check back later as AsiaOne will bring you the latest updates from St James Power House. We will also have the girls' reactions on how they feel about making it into the top 20. There will also be loads of fun at The New Paper's 19th Anniversary bash at The Boiler Room, St James Power Station. The Station Kitchen will be whipping up gastronomic delights for 200 invited guests. The Kitchen is within St James Power Station and houses three food outlets - the Japanese grilled meat restaurant, Charcoal, a Din Tai Fung noodle bar and an Indian outlet, What You Do Prata. It is run by the BreadTalk Group, which owns the local franchise for the popular Taiwanese eatery Din Tai Fung. Each of the food outlets has its own seating area, but you can order food from all three outlets no matter where you sit. You will get to taste Station Kitchen's signature dishes in the company of some of the freshest faces from our New Face lineup. Radio 91.3FM DJs Rod Monteiro, Suzanne Walker and Joe Augustine will be attending the party. They will also unveil this year's New Face finalists. |
