PEOPLE are keeping away from MRT or bus travel due to shrinking personal space on over-crowded public transport.

Singaporeans are not used to travelling shoulder to shoulder, although that seems to be inevitable.

Just look at the crush of people in MRT trains during peak hours.

Besides this, ungracious behaviour, such as not making way for others or giving up seats, is also a common sight.
