A RETIRED teacher who drove his car while a man was clinging onto the bonnet was jailed a total of 10 weeks on Monday for committing a rash act and two other offences.

Philip Yeo Chuan Lock, 63, who had admitted to committing the rash act, scratching the victim's car and inconsiderate driving, was fined $3,000 and banned from driving for life.

A Community Court heard that the victim, sales executive Mr Koh Boon Tai, 36, had confronted Yeo after seeing a fresh scratch at the back of his car along Tembeling Road on Jun 28 last year.
