More foreigners call helplines
One helpline received 462 calls last year, up from 353 in 2007. -ST
By Mavis Toh MORE foreigners are calling help groups' hotlines. At foreign worker advocacy group Transient Workers Count Too, its helpline received 462 calls last year, up from 353 in 2007 - from female domestic helpers and male foreign workers. Each week, about three foreigners - out of about 860 callers weekly - dial the helpline of the Samaritans of Singapore (SOS). Read the full story in tomorrow's edition of The Sunday Times.
