Having money means you don't have to listen to what other people say, according to a parent from a well-known primary school in the East.

This parent had openly declared on a forum that she had told her child not not to listen to the teacher because they had money backing them.

"My child doesn't want to study anymore. Since I am so rich, I will let him be in school (sic) but let him play and call him (sic) not to listen to the teacher," the parent wrote.

A fellow parent, angry by the comment, highlighted the forum posting to STOMP.

"I have a primary school girl. I read with great disgust and disbelief when I chanced upon this parent's posting in a Primary school Parent Portal discussion board," wrote the parent, while wondering about the types of values being transmitted to the child.

Other netizens at the citizen journalism site had echoed the STOMPer's views.

"It is tragic that some parents are not imparting the right values to their children," lamented unclephoenix.

Some other netizens had also blasted the "rich" parent's seemingly poor grasp of the English Language.

"I'm very curious to know which school it is where they partake in STUDING insteas (sic) of S-T-U-D-Y-I-N-G," wrote eddievanh.

Laughed GilaBoar: "Hahaha! I have a hard time trying to understand what the parent is trying to write!

"All I can conclude is that this parent has no education too."
