MOE announces the winners of the School Excellence award and School Distinction award. -ST
School Excellence Award The top prize which recognises academic achievements and those in the arts, sports and school management. Schools must win Sustained Achievement Awards in three areas - two for primary schools - and two Best Practice Awards, one of which has to be for students' all-round development. Winners: Raffles Girls' Primary School, National Junior College and Temasek Junior College. School Distinction Award Schools need to win Sustained Achievement Awards in two categories, and a Best Practice Award. Winners: Anglo-Chinese Junior College; four primary schools - Ai Tong, Henry Park, Kong Hwa and Radin Mas; three secondary schools - CHIJ Toa Payoh, St Anthony's Canossian and St Margaret's; three full schools - Catholic High, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' and Maris Stella High.
