Six DVD sellers, one a Bangladeshi, were arrested in Saturday's 9pm raid on the roadside stalls.

State Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Roslee Chik said: "The traders put up minor resistance but the team managed to nab them before they closed their stalls. They tried to pass on information about the raid with walkie-talkies.

"Two police lorries were needed to transport the optical discs, and five walkie-talkies were seized."
