By Ravi Velloor, South Asia Bureau Chief NEW DELHI: The rich kid who mowed down six people with his luxury sedan on a winter night nearly a decade ago, and then fled the scene, was given a five-year jail sentence by a Delhi court yesterday. Sanjeev Nanda, the well-connected son of a prominent arms dealer and the grandson of a retired Indian naval chief, stood expressionless as Judge Vinod Kumar announced the sentence three days after he found the man guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Clad in a light brown shirt and trousers, Nanda had earlier arrived in court escorted from jail by a group of policemen.
