S'porean accused of charity scam in Taiwan

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - A Singapore businessman has landed in trouble with the law after some Taiwanese celebrities accused him of tricking them into taking part in a Halloween charity concert.

A police report was made against Mr David Looi Chong Wee, 35, over the concert on Saturday.

This comes just two weeks after he was arrested, when a French restaurant he used to work for accused him of stealing money.
