15,000 revellers party for 12 hours straight at Siloso Beach

SINGAPORE - Some 15,000 party-goers welcomed the new year Wednesday night at Asia's largest beach countdown party at Siloso Beach on Sentosa island, dancing for 12 hours straight.
The spectacular celebration saw more than 20 international and local DJs pumping out dance hits across five party zones at the Siloso Beach Party, an iconic annual bash on the resort island.
Famous DJs who headlined the party included DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs, Zurich-raised DJ Mike Candys, who made his Singapore debut at the 1.2km long beach last night.
The first international DJ to take to the stage, Candys remarked how large and high-spirited the crowd was.
He gushed: "With perfectly-timed fireworks display and neon paint raining down on the smiling revelers, 2015's new beginning could not be more magical than an experience at Siloso Beach Party."
The party was carved into five zones which gave party-goers more variety of music genres and activities.
Fitness junkies at Wave House Sentosa rode the waves, while beach lovers lounged on deck chairs at Bikini Bar, Coastes and Sand Bar.
Apart from the fireworks that exploded to screams of merry-makers at the stroke of midnight, they also lapped up death-defying acrobatics by members of the National Danish Performance Team.
