16 artistes from 11 countries at Skechers Sundown Festival

SINGAPORE - A grand total of 16 artistes entertained the crowd at the Skechers Sundown Festival on Saturday night at Marina Promenade.

Singaporean rapper ShiGGa Shay started the concert off with his songs, "Limpeh" and "Lion City Kia". Up and coming star Jeremy Teng followed suit with his version of two Japanese songs.

In a surprising move, Japanese piano-rock band WEAVER played a mash-up, including nostalgic tracks such as Kit Chan's "Home".

Indian Punjabi folk singer Kanika Kapoor was also present, who sang "Jugni Ji".

Other artistes who attended the event include local songstress Olivia Ong, Malaysia's Shila Amzah and Taiwanese rock musician Chang Chen-yue.

In addition to the music that Sundown Festival is renowned for, attendees were also able to try street food from other Asian countries, such as Halo-halo from the Philippines and Indonesian Satay.

Director of event organiser Red Spade Events Mr Kelvin Goh said: "With so many artistes coming from all around the region, Skechers Sundown Festival is truly honoured to have many music powerhouses performing in one event."
