Actors Janice Man, Nicholas Tse deny dating

HONG KONG - Hong Kong actors Janice Man and Nicholas Tse have separately denied rumours that they are dating, after they were reported looking cosy at a party.

They were seen at a Hong Kong restaurant earlier this month, chatting intimately, with Tse putting his arm on her shoulders and she feeding him food, according to a recent report.

But at Tuesday's promotional event for new thriller Helios, Man, 24, said she and Tse were "good friends", echoing a comment by the actor on Sunday.

Asked at the Macau event if they were dating, she replied: "No, I'm single. We were at the dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. No feeding of food."

Asked if the friendship could grow, she was reported by Apple Daily Hong Kong to have said: "Let things develop naturally."

Man, who started out as a model, also denied that she and Tse were keeping the romance secret following his divorce from actress Cecilia Cheung, 33.

Meanwhile, at a Beijing press conference on Tuesday, Tse, 33, denied allegations of a romance. Waving his hand, he said, "It's not true", according to a Sina.com report.

Tse, whose love life has come under the media's scrutiny following his divorce, was recently romantically linked to Chinese actress Zhou Xun, 39.

Helios is the follow-up to award- winning blockbuster Cold War by Hong Kong directing duo Sunny Luk and Longman Leung. Man joins a cast including Jacky Cheung, Nick Cheung, Shawn Yue, Chang Chen, Ji Jin Hee, Choi Si Won and Wang Xueqi in the movie, which is set for release next year.

It is about a South Korean mobile nuclear bomb made from uranium which is stolen from North Korea and being sold in Hong Kong, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
