Actress Tang Wei releases wedding photos on Weibo

Chinese actress Tang Wei and S Korean director Kim Tae Yong shared some of their wedding pictures via Chinese microblogging site Weibo on Tuesday afternoon.

The pair, who held an impromptu wedding on the remote Swedish island of Faro earlier on July 12, held their official wedding ceremony with their parents and family in attendance.

The newly-weds also left a message for their followers on Weibo. The statement said that "a new stage of life is fresh yet challenging, but we are fully prepared to experience [it] together with love and respect."
