ah5ive to represent Singapore at Ho Hai Yan Rock Festival in Taiwan

Local Chinese rock band, ah5ive are set to represent Singapore at this year's Ho Hai Yan Rock Festival in Taiwan this summer.

The five piece band will be performing an hour set-list from their first album, "Let Us Feel the Blazing Lights", as well as their upcoming sophomore album, which is currently in the midst of production.

The festival is to be held at Fulong Beach, New Taipei City. Ho Hai Yan is arguably one of Taiwan's largest indie rock festival, with performances by some of the most established acts in the industry such as Ah Mei, Zhang Zhen Yue, Lu Guang Zhong, together with international performers such as Manhand (Malaysia), visual-kei band D=OUT (Japan) and Her Bright Skies (Sweden), just to name a few.

Formed in 2007, ah5ive is one of Singapore's leading band's in the Indie Chinese music scene today. Their album consists of 9 songs which include Murder, theme song for 95.8FM's radio drama "The Four Detectives", as well as "Look! Our Decaying World!", a dark humoured take on environmental issues broadcasted on 100.3FM.

The entire festival will be streamed live on YouTube from July 9 to 13, and Ah5ive will be on screen for the opening act for Thursday's festival Program at 4pm(CST).
